Estimator

The Estimator is the foundation of Operations at Doland Structure. Estimators are responsible for critically reviewing, evaluating and pricing bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we are well-informed to all information needed to successfully bid and win a project. Estimators must actively follow-up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received accurately and in good time. Estimators will review constructability of drawings and level scope from various subcontractors estimates to accurately price projects. Estimators also work with the other Operations teams to follow-up on bids and budgets.

Project Manager

Project Managers control the time, cost and quality of projects, from ground-up developments to individual tenant build-outs. They plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including prequalifying, hiring and drafting contracts for subcontractors and working with engineers, architects and clients. Project managers will pursue the organized progress and completion of projects

 

Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager works tightly with the Doland Structure Project Managers and Superintendents to complete the following supervisory tasks: interface weekly with Owners, Architects, Engineering and Subcontractors regarding project feasibility, budgeting, scheduling, field visits, meeting preparation, project documentation, completion, and close-out. This position is also responsible for design development participation, pre-construction, construction and warranty coordination. Most importantly the APM position will support and engage the project as a primary problem solver to consistently keep the project progress flowing.

Superintendents

Superintendents are the driving force behind project progress in the field. A Doland Structure superintendent will coordinate the contract documents, subcontractors, materials and schedule to efficiently continue the project to completion. The superintendent will be the knowledge authority of the project and a representative of Doland Structure as well as the design professional and Owner's vision.

Internship

Doland Structure offers internships for current students, as well as recent graduates who have Business, Architectural, Construction Management or Engineering backgrounds and are interested for understanding and participating in the assembly of modern commercial structures.
